Polbruk offer a wealth of choice. A variety of surfaces – from small washed pavers Polbruk Avanti – to unusual paving shapes Polbruk Petra.
The light and charm of the hot South, Mediterranean architecture – still filled with scorching sun and joyful tranquillity – is the inspiration for creating unique combinations. From places with distinctive architectural features such as Italy, Spain, Greece and Cyprus, we borrow the very best to creatively transform designs into entirely new, original discoveries.
Our gardens and homes take on fanciful – almost fairy-tale-like – shapes and, depending on the imagination of their owners, evoke Italian villas, Spanish mansions, Moorish ancestral homes, or Andalusian and Tuscan architecture. Buildings with flat or slightly sloping roofs and light-coloured façades are surrounded by courtyards, terraces and open porches.
We readily turn to natural motifs and decorations such as: wooden window frames, pergolas overgrown with lush vines, as well as accessories that contrast with the pastel colours of the walls and surroundings. The presence of colourful details adds dynamism to the composition, bringing it to life…
A perfect example of Italian-style inspiration is the Polbruk Petra collection. Irregular pavers with a raw stone texture evoke Mediterranean traditions. Sahara-coloured blends look striking in large, open spaces where the sun often shines and the vegetation flourishes with intense colours.
In turn, onyx shades – with a slightly smoky surface – are the perfect finish for a garden path scented with herbs and lavender. Polbruk Toledo, Polbruk Magna will fit just as well into the architecture of a Mediterranean-style property. They will give any space a radiant, sunny look, full of the warmth of summer memories. Elements with an unusual texture and colour scheme, which have also been adapted in size for smaller areas, allow you to finish a terrace or patio – even one of modest dimensions.
The irregular shape of the edges combined with a smooth texture are the hallmarks of the Polbruk Granito collection – created for sun-drenched spaces. In a Mediterranean-style home and garden, alongside the characteristic, large areas finished with terrace slabs, you shouldn’t miss out on the Polbruk Avanti, Polbruk Carmino pavers.
They blend perfectly with unpolished stone, gravel-finished joints and small pebbles. All these elements harmonise beautifully with the climbing plants typical of the South, displayed on striking pergolas, netting or trellises.
