It brings out the very best in a development, highlighting the qualities of structures of varying character and purpose. In Boguchwała – Polbruk Urbanika – they intriguingly complement the layout of the town square, the centrepiece of which is a historic granary. In Hellwig’s Spa Park in Ciechocinek – it is worth noting that the pavers here serve as a decoration in their own right, adding variety to the urban space.
The Town Square in Boguchwała features over 5,000 square metres of premium pavers: Polbruk Urbanika, 8 centimetres thick, washed and smooth in colour blends: onyx, nerino, barwy jesieni, as well as surfaces made of decorative and classic pavers: Polbruk Nostalite (6 centimetres thick), Polbruk Tetka (8 centimetres thick, grey). In the vicinity of the market square and the palace in Boguchwała, there are several historic buildings, including the beautiful granary – mentioned earlier – dating from around 1850, which now houses the Municipal Public Library.
Polbruk Urbanika pavers were used for the market square in Boguchwała, whilst in the park in Ciechocinek, grey Polbruk Urbanika pavers were combined with mottled Polbruk Nostalite pavers, creating a strikingly contrasting effect of textures and colours.
Both projects confirm that even with a single paver – available in various shades, formats and textures – it is possible to create interesting and modern compositions in urban spaces.
