Durable and elegant steps

Add to favorites

In most contemporary designs, minimalism and comfort are valued. Ready-made concrete steps fit perfectly into this trend, allowing us to build stairs in a terraced garden.

They are simple and quick to install, and also durable. For 2–3 steps, there is no need to lay a foundation; you simply need to shape the ground appropriately. Their appeal is also down to their versatile design. If you want wide, gently sloping steps, it is worth building them using steps such as Magna. They are quite low, as they are only 8 cm high, but at the same time large (75x100 cm), which is why they are recommended for installation on gently sloping ground. They can be used to create floating stairs that look as though they are suspended in mid-air. The Magna steps can be combined with large-format slabs and the palisade of the same name. The slabs can be used to create the surface of a terrace, path or walkway, whilst the palisade can be used to create a flowerbed or secure a slope.

An alternative to the Magna steps, when you have slightly less space to level out the differences between ‘terraces’ in the garden, are the Grando steps. They are steeper, though still very comfortable, as the step height is 15 cm. They are also narrower, with a width of 37 cm. Grando are available in a smooth finish and in eight colours – nerino, grey, graphite, latte, hawaii, onyx, boho and ivory. Grando are versatile steps that will work well in many designs. For modern interiors, steps in shades of grey with a smooth or textured finish will be a perfect match. Smooth beige tones work well in a classic style, whilst the ‘hawaii’ colour is ideal for rustic and Mediterranean styles.
