Furthermore, the landscape of a Mediterranean garden can be enhanced by small stone walls, which can easily be built using elements from Polbruk Grando, which are also ideal for constructing small steps connecting different ground levels in the garden.
In the shade of the vegetation
, Mediterranean green oases are dominated by decorative climbing plants and aromatic herbs. Alongside vines, ornamental legumes such as sweet peas and beans also work perfectly as fragrant climbers. In addition to lavender, a home herb garden should include beds of herbs such as oregano, thyme, sage, basil and rosemary. In our climate zone, it is best to plant this type of vegetation in small clay pots or wooden boxes, which can easily be moved indoors in the event of lower temperatures.
As befits Mediterranean-inspired design, a garden arranged in this style should create an atmosphere that is entirely conducive to relaxation. Comfortable garden furniture, complemented by plenty of soft cushions, will ensure a cosy afternoon siesta.
