Wojciech Średniawa, Chief Designer at Polbruk:
When choosing a type of garden paving, we should be guided not only by obvious aesthetic considerations but also by practical ones. For this reason, I recommend decorative, durable and functional concrete blocks and slabs. Their advantages include high durability, almost unlimited application possibilities, and a wide range of available designs and colours.
When deciding on specific products, you should consider the function the path will serve and take the terrain into account. If there are slight inclines on the property, we should use smaller pavers, which will help to level out the differences in the ground. For winding paths, it is worth using trapezoidal pavers. Those, on the other hand, which will also be used for vehicular traffic, should be laid on a solid sub-base using 8 cm thick elements.
