Grey is always in vogue
Contrary to appearances, greys are not only safe but also versatile – they allow you to create interiors and spaces in a raw, minimalist, Scandinavian style. They represent modernity and elegance at their best. Grey also works perfectly in traditional, stylised interiors, bringing an element of surprise, a breath of fresh air and a new spirit. No wonder, then, that architects and designers are so keen to use it so often. It is grey that adds lightness and modernity to spaces, relieving them of the weight of excess or excessive ornamentation.
A timeless effect – how to achieve it?
Spaces dominated by monochromatic colours with an almost austere character have been in vogue for some time and effectively capture the viewer’s attention. Designing a terrace, property or driveway in a similar colour scheme depends primarily on the nature of the space itself and the effect we wish to achieve. In this case, the Polbruk Magna slab in the colour Nerino – a blend of grey and graphite – works perfectly. It combines avant-garde with minimalism, lending structures an exclusive, even luxurious character. The richness of various elements and the uniqueness of the spaces being designed can be emphasised with the pavers Polbruk Ideo, which will also fit in well amongst modernist buildings. The collection Polbruk Complex is sure to be the perfect finish for shopping arcades and seaside promenades – not only will it organise the space, but it will also make it much more functional.
Ideo and Complex pavers are also available in grey, making it easier to achieve a timeless look.
