The teams competing for the top spots in the table were: AZS UWM Olsztyn, MKS MDK Warsaw, UMKS MOS Wola Warsaw, KS Metro Warsaw, Effectora Kielce, Trefl Gdańsk, AKS V LO Rzeszów, Chemik Bydgoszcz, MUKS Amber Kalisz, AZS PWSZ Nysa, UMKS Kęczanin Kęty, MMKS Maraton Świnoujście, mainly quarter-finalists of the 2014/2015 Polish Cadet Championships.
The best turned out to be the players from UMKS MOS Wola Warsaw, who first defeated three other teams 6–1 in sets during the group stage, before winning the final twice 2–0, leaving their rivals from MKS MDK Warsaw and AKS V LO Rzeszów with no chance of scoring even a single point.
There was plenty of excitement, as evidenced by the number of sets played, the scrapes on the players’ knees, and the occasional scramble under the net. International referee Agnieszka Michlic oversaw the matches.
We would like to thank all the players for their commitment and for a closely contested match right to the end. We would also like to thank our partners and the fans who turned out in such large numbers at the Arena Ursynów in Warsaw to cheer on their favourite volleyball players.
