The “CITYandREST URBAN SAFE RECREATION ZONE” competition, aimed at architects, landscape architects and designers, has been decided. The competition task involved developing a concept for a public space that would enable the creation of safe conditions for living and leisure in the city, whilst fostering social connections whilst maintaining an appropriate distance between people. The CITYandREST competition was held under the patronage of the Association of Landscape Architects, the architectural magazine Architektura&Biznes, and the website for landscape architects, urban planners and garden enthusiasts – www.sztuka-krajobrazu.pl. The competition received many very interesting and well-prepared entries, so the jury’s decision was certainly not an easy one. We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and warmly congratulate the winners.
