Due to the very large number of entries, the competition jury’s deliberations were lengthy but fruitful – the Competition Committee awarded prizes to 21 entries. The main prize, namely reimbursement of the cost of purchasing Polbruk products used in the makeover, was won by Mr Filip Kubis. The other participants received honourable mentions and were awarded comfortable and cosy, designer cocoon-style hanging garden and patio chairs. The jury recognised projects that stood out for their design coherence, originality and creativity, as well as their well-thought-out layout and colour scheme. All entries demonstrated a high standard of design. The competition photos submitted showed that an increasing number of people are placing emphasis on outdoor design and paying attention not only to the paving but also to street furniture and the arrangement of greenery. The winning design utilised pavers Multicomplex and Napoli, edging Modern, Lingo and Flesz, and stair treads Grando. This arrangement is rendered in elegant shades of grey and blends beautifully with the building’s style. We congratulate the winners and warmly thank all participants for taking part in the competition.
