The event was attended by architects from across Europe (including Vienna, Italy, Spain and Poland), who, under the guidance of renowned tutors, sought to uncover what Kraków’s architecture—and beyond—had hidden from us.
A tour along the Kraków Modernism Trail, a visit to Wytwórnia Kraków, the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art and Nowa Huta were just some of the inspiring highlights of this year’s OSSY programme, which were quickly translated onto paper. Participants worked in groups, guided by architects and representatives of sponsoring companies, to present the results of their work on the final day to guests gathered at the Academy of Fine Arts at 13 Matejki Street in Kraków
OSSA KRK 2015 would not have had its unique and thought-provoking atmosphere were it not for the presence of such leading Polish urban planners as: Ewa Rudnicka, Jerzy Szczepanik-Dzikowski, Krzysztof Nawratek and Paweł Jaworski, who spoke in a highly engaging manner about their work and completed projects.
We are delighted that our company was also able to contribute to the success of this year’s OSSY KRK, which, thanks to such an intensive and inspiring programme, is sure to remain in the memories of all participants for a long time to come.
