Physical activity is the key to health, which is why, out of concern for it, we constantly promote the idea of wellbeing among our employees, their families and society as a whole. That is why we are involved in initiatives that can help promote sport and an active lifestyle. We are committed not only to encouraging adults to be active, but also children and young people.
In previous years, the festival matches were held in Kraków and Kielce, and this year they have moved to the capital, to Wilanów Beach. The 2021 International Beach Sports Festival will kick off with the prestigious 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Warsaw presented by ORLEN Paliwa, a men’s beach volleyball tournament under the auspices of FIVB Volleyball World. The main tournament will feature 12 pairs, including representatives of Poland, and 16 teams competing for victory. The competition will feature outstanding volleyball players. The Warsaw Festival has been recognised by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and has been included on the list of the most important European volleyball events. During the festival, tournaments will be held in four beach sports: beach volleyball, beach football, beach handball and beach tennis. The festival also includes the Polbruk Youth Beach Sports Festival for girls’ and boys’ beach volleyball and beach football.
Beach sports are very popular and attract an increasing number of fans and supporters every year. Sports enthusiasts can also look forward to a host of attractions and a range of accompanying events: competitions for children and young people, night matches featuring stars, including a beach volleyball match between four indoor World Champions and four beach World Champions, fireworks displays and a Latin-style Beach Party. The organisers have also prepared plenty of attractions for the youngest visitors: mini-volleyball sessions, sports stations, obstacle courses, inflatables and trampolines. We are proud to be able to support the participants and contribute to promoting this sport in Poland.
The event
is organised by the International Beach Sports Centre, and the biggest promoter and populariser of beach sports in Poland – the 2014 indoor volleyball world champion, Paweł Zagumny.
We wish the competitors every success, and we warmly encourage everyone else to come along to cheer them on and share in the sporting excitement.
