Among the participants, the most numerous age group were children, who eagerly hopped on their bikes and set off along one of the three planned routes under their parents’ supervision. The cyclists set off at midday from Litewski Square, reaching the finish line at the Wrotków Centre an hour or two later, depending on the route chosen.
After the ride, families took part in a festival featuring dance and singing performances by pupils from School Complex No. 5 in Lublin, competitions and games with prizes, and a barbecue. Numerous prizes were handed out, including rucksacks, vests, T-shirts, sweets and the rally’s mascots – storks.
Special awards were also presented to: the largest family taking part in the ride, and the youngest and oldest participants.
The Family Bike Rally took place in Lublin for the fifth time, and this year it was supported by Polbruk S.A.
