Six top teams from the PlusLiga took part in the tournament held at the Ursynów Sports and Recreation Centre in Warsaw. They included: AZS Częstochowa, Effector Kielce, Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz, AZS Politechnika Warszawska, Lotos Trefl Gdańsk and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
In Sunday’s final, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów beat Onico AZS Politechnika Warszawska 3–1. Third place went to the players of Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, who beat Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz 3–2.

Zdzisław Ambroziak was a professional volleyball player, a three-time Polish champion, and a participant in the Olympic Games in Mexico City and Munich. After retiring from volleyball, he became a journalist and sports commentator. He passed away in 2004. Three years later, a foundation bearing his name was established, which organises a three-day event in Ursynów – the Zdzisław Ambroziak Memorial.
The aim of the event is to promote doping-free sport in accordance with the principles of fair play. Polbruk has supported the organisation of the Memorial for the third time.
