ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, a leading PlusLiga team supported by Polbruk, is set to begin its campaign in the Polish Cup.
The tournament is scheduled to start on 4 January 2017. ZAKSA will begin their campaign with a match against MKS Będzin, who currently sit tenth in the table. The quarter-finals will be played on 11 January, the semi-finals on 14 January, and the final on 15 January (the competition will be played on a knockout basis). Wrocław will host the final tournament.

The team from Kędzierzyn-Koźle is the current national champion. PGE Skra Bełchatów is the defending Polish Cup champion.
